JOHN ROCHA
Born in Hong Kong of Chinese and Portuguese descent,
John Rocha has gained international acclaim as well
as the British Designer of the Year award for 1993.
His work in clothing is known for simple lines and
minimal decoration. He spent nearly two years at
Waterford, learning to work with glass. The result
is a collection that is more in tune with today's
lifestyles than more heavily-cut patterns. Like all
Waterford creations, they will endure for generations
to come.
