The Zwiesel 1872 brand is hand-crafted and mouth-blown crystal for the discerning individual, produced using traditional techniques combined with the latest innovations in crystal glass technology. 

The Schott Zwiesel brand is machine-made crystal glass for domestic and commercial use, and is the brand of choice in many of the world's top hotels and restaurants. 

Both brands include stems made from revolutionary Tritan^® titanium crystal (see below), which is lead- and barium-free, with superior clarity, brilliance, durability and dishwasher-resistance.  The glass rims are laser-cut and laser-polished. The glasses are also flame-polished and heat-tempered to enhance break- and chip-resistance. Many of the champagne flutes have laser-etched effervescence points to improve presentation and sustain fizz.
