W üsthof has been making forged knives for professional chefs and home enthusiasts since 1814. The trident logo was registered with the Berlin Patent Office in 1895. Today ’s Wüsthof employs about three hundred people in Solingen, Germany, under the management of Wolfgang and Harald Wüsthof — the sixth and seventh generations of family owner-managers.
